EHP Certification Program Overview

The Equine Healing Practitioner Certification Program consists of two parts:
1. EHP Training Course
2. EHP Advanced Fieldwork

Equine Healing Practitioner Training Course

The EHP Training Course provides an extensive education in the art of equine healing. The classes include lectures, exercises, video demonstrations and equine healing practicum assignments.  One-on-One Mentoring with Ginger is provided to support your learning after EHP classes 3 and 4. Class 5 is an in-person class, the location and dates are determined after the EHP Training Course begins. Dates are chosen to best accommodate the needs of the EHP Training attendees.

Advanced Fieldwork

After completing the EHP Training Course, you can gain in-depth experience and strengthen your healing skills during the Advanced Fieldwork phase. You receive continued education and One-on-One Mentoring with Ginger, as you apply your training to horses and write-up Equine Healing Case Studies, in preparation for certification.

Having the classes spread out as they are, provided us time to prepare – and the time allotted was perfect. In the beginning, I felt that there were a lot of breaks during a teaching session. However, I soon felt myself surrendering, realizing that I was coming to a place of peace, and truly absorbing the knowledge being offered. The art of learning that which is not seen. Ginger teaches with a high level of integrity and encourages that in her students. She designs her teachings with purpose, to help create experiences and learning opportunities within.
Being that this was my very first experience in officially learning about horses, and more so helping them to heal, I found the recordings very helpful. I took a lot of notes during the class, but I also had faith that if I were missing any details or needed more time with a certain aspect of the teachings, that I could go back and dive into the recordings. Which translated to me being able to be present with Ginger’s live teachings, knowing I could review later. I also very much appreciated that when unable to attend a session in person, I could continue to keep up with my studies. A very supportive aspect of learning as we are all active, busy folks.
The case studies were instrumental in building our awareness, confidence and bringing together our skills in working for the good of the horses. They create a purposeful strategy in applying what we learned, for helping the horses to heal and alleviate their past traumas and any hardships. We are not looking to perform miracles off the bat, but maybe small miracles. (big smile) Being with a horse, in their space, with their growing trust is a magnificent experience. The case studies are a beautiful way to understand and to know that what we are applying, is building trust, and encouraging a pathway of healing for the horses.
The mentoring sessions with Ginger are a terrific learning experience. An opportunity to explore the work we have been doing and sharpen our awareness. Somehow, in participating in Ginger’s classes you feel as though the world around you has quieted, and you’re in rhythm with something larger than yourself. I experienced this same sensation during our mentoring sessions. Ginger has a way of focusing in a detailed, calm, and purposeful manner that cultivates learning and builds understanding.
Ginger made herself available and supportive throughout the EHP Training Course.
